ATXP, by Circuit & Chisel, gives an AI agent an account of its own: a persistent identity, a payments balance, an email address and pay-per-use tools in one layer. Spending runs on a pre-funded IOU balance, so the funded amount is a hard cap; per-category limits per call, per transaction and per day, and separate balances per agent, sit on top. ATXP registers as an MCP server, ships a TypeScript SDK, and supports LangChain, CrewAI, the OpenAI Agents SDK and other frameworks. It positions itself as a compatibility layer that can pay x402 endpoints and interact with ACP merchants. Self-registering agents receive an email address, an Ethereum wallet and a connection token.
