Dodo Payments is the billing and payments platform for AI-first companies: credit-based billing, usage metering, subscriptions and one-time payments, sold as merchant of record in 220+ countries, so Dodo handles tax compliance, chargebacks and product delivery. Published pricing is 4% + 40c standard, +1.5% international, ACH Direct Debit 1.5% capped at $15, subscriptions and usage billing +0.5%, disputes $30, refunds $1, and payouts free on the standard schedule. Its agent tooling targets developers: an agent plugin with two MCP servers and a library of skills so coding agents can build and manage the billing integration, plus SDKs in nine languages. Dodo states in its own blog that it does not implement x402 or AP2 and offers no agent wallets: it is how AI companies get paid, not how agents spend.
