Overview

Nevermined lets agents pay for APIs, services and MCP tools under a spend mandate: an amount, a number of purchases and an expiry, checked on every purchase and revocable instantly. Instead of a new card, it delegates the user's existing card: the number is vaulted by VGS, the agent pays with a network token via Visa Intelligent Commerce, and charges settle to the seller's Stripe account on card rails or in USDC on crypto rails. x402 and MPP are live for paid APIs; AP2 compatibility is claimed. SDKs are available in TypeScript and Python; MCP servers can be wrapped with a paywall and charged per tool call.

Pricing

Merchants: 1% on stablecoin rails, 2% on card rails, with processing at cost. Buyers: 2% on external services, free from Nevermined merchants. Free personal plan; catalog $20/mo; organizations $50 to $500/mo.
